Meet MVA
Karl Kraus, our Chief Technologist, brings a depth and breadth of technological know-how to the MVA team. Karl was a founder of LocatorSearch™ a comprehensive suite of on-demand applications allowing Banks and Credit Unions to market existing Branches and ATM networks effectively and efficiently across all channels. During his tenure at CUMAnet, LLC, Karl spearheaded its technology development and digital mortgage strategies on the Encompass lending system and FICS mortgage servicing platform, to increase operational efficiencies and enhance user experience. Karl began his career at Fiserv as a Project Manager for core banking and other system conversions and later served as CIO of Quorum Federal Credit Union.
A native of Wisconsin, Karl is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. He received his MBA from Iona College and is certified in Product Management and Pragmatic Marketing. Karl is active in local government. Karl resides in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

Scott Moriarty
Scott Moriarty, Principal and founding partner of Mountain View Advisors. Scott served as the CEO of CUMAnet LLC, a mortgage loan fulfillment, marketing and servicing asset management company, providing innovative and comprehensive mortgage solutions primarily for credit unions and other community-based lenders. He led merger integrations, system conversions, servicing transfers, automated regulatory controls, and leveraged data driven research tools to launch cutting-edge digital mortgage operations. With more than 20 years of credit union industry experience, Scott brings a specific focus on innovation, operational enhancements and entrepreneurial efforts. Scott holds a B.S. in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University at State College and is a graduate of the Filene Institute i3 Innovation Program.
Debra Leone, Esq.
Debra Leone, Principal and founding partner of Mountain View Advisors. Debra's more than 30 years of regulatory and legal expertise coupled with technological and process acumen, enhance her ability to deliver comprehensive insight and guidance to financial service companies seeking to improve or optimize their existing operations. As the COO of CUMAnet, LLC, Debra was responsible for the development of its operational and staffing strategy, creative problem-solving and implementing change management. As the chief compliance executive she served as the point person for both federal and state examinations, and developed CUMAnet's first compliance program. Debra is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University, College of Liberal Arts.
